We’ll look at the patterns showing up across five key areas:
Bracing & Hypervigilance %
How much your system seems to stay alert, tense or prepared, even when there’s no obvious immediate threat.
Overthinking & Mental Control %
How much you rely on analysing, predicting or mentally working things out in order to feel more settled or certain.
Over-Responsibility %
How much you find yourself managing other people’s feelings, expectations or needs, sometimes at the expense of your own.
Shutdown & Depletion %
How much overwhelm seems to show up as exhaustion, withdrawal, procrastination or a reduced capacity to deal with everyday demands.
Recovery & Self-Trust %
How easily you can settle after stress, recognise what you need and trust yourself without having to resolve everything first.
You may have been coping for longer than you realise.
Sometimes the pattern isn’t obvious because life still looks fairly functional from the outside.
- You work.
- You get things done.
- You manage other people.
- You keep thinking things through.
But underneath, you may be spending far more energy than you realise staying prepared, keeping control, avoiding conflict or pushing through exhaustion.
Over time, those ways of coping can become automatic.
The aim of this scorecard isn’t to label you.
It’s to help you notice where your system may be working hardest and what might help.
